I’m Anna (like ‘Frozen’!), a queer elopement photographer passionate about capturing love stories that feel authentic, adventurous, and deeply personal. I’m a kind-hearted soul from Minnesota who sees every wedding as a new adventure and wants you to feel both included and celebrated throughout your elopement experience.
Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate ceremony on the North Shore of Lake Superior, a cozy Airbnb elopement surrounded by the beauty of Minnesota’s state parks, or an adventure in the Boundary Waters, I’m here to help make your day as unique and special as your love.
No one should ever have to worry about their safety or comfort being compromised just to capture stunning photos of their most important day.

1. How do we choose the location of where we’ll elope in Minnesota or Wisconsin or Michigan?
You’re in the right place because I can help you decide! If you’ve got a spot that’s really meaningful to you, awesome! Otherwise, as a Minnesota native who’s been exploring here for years, I’ve got all the best spots and am continuously exploring to find more! The goal is to find a place that feels like a perfect and unique fit for you, all while aiming to find somewhere that will give you privacy as you say “i do” to your person :)

2. Will you help us plan our elopement experience with you?
Heck ya!!! Throughout our time together (be it 6 weeks or a year) I do my best to get to know you as a couple and figure out the things you two like to do together. Additionally, I send all of my couples a detailed questionnaire for them to fill out and let me know what their dream day looks like and I will do my best to make that a reality! Check out this blog for examples of what some activities are that you could do together!

- 11:00 AM: Start getting ready at your Airbnb
- 1:00 PM: First look and portraits
- 1:45 PM: Travel to location
- 2:15 PM: One-mile hike to the location with photos
- 3:45 PM: Ceremony and vows
- 4:30 PM: Celebration picnic
- 5:30 PM: Hike to next location
- 6:45 PM: Sunset and portrait session
- 7:35 PM: Hike back
- 8:30 PM: Travel back to Airbnb
- 9:00 PM: Bonfire, drinks, and party (whatever “party” means to you!)

4. What if it rains (or snows) on our wedding day?
Unless I have a booking already, I will always include something called weather insurance into your package. Which means, we can make the final call the night before your wedding if weather is looking back and push the elopement to the day AFTER what we have scheduled. This of course is dependent on if you have any other vendors involved and if they can do the same. We will discuss multiple back up options (including making your airbnb/stay super cute on the inside for a ceremony moment) during our last check in call! Basically- I got you!!! Don’t worry!

In short, whatever things feel exciting and authentic to YOU as a unique couple... but while you're figuring it out, here are some ideas:

- Book a land, water or air tour (or heli-ride onto a remote section of a glacier!)
- Biking
- Horseback riding
- Cliff jumping swimming
- Relax by a campfire
- Chill in some hot springs to start or finish your day
- Kayak, canoe, or paddleboard

- Ziplining
- Climbing
- Play your favorite games
- Cook together
- Go to a brewery or musuem

6. Are there any vendors you recommend?
I have lots of local vendor recommendations (that are all vetted and queer affirming) but one that I’m HYPED about is that in your package, you can pay a flat fee of $200 to add on either a bouquet and boutonniere, or two of either of those on and I will pick them up from prairie rose farm and floral on my way to your elopement so you don’t even have to worry about the flowers you want for your elopement!
